Shipping Policy

At The Backyard Adventure Co., our goal is to deliver big adventure—right to your backyard. We partner with trusted manufacturers and logistics providers to ensure your premium playsets, inflatables, and outdoor structures arrive safely and efficiently across Canada and the United States.
1. Where We Ship
We currently ship to:
🇨🇦 Canada (nationwide)
🇺🇸 United States (48 contiguous states)
Note: At this time, we do not ship to P.O. Boxes, Alaska, Hawaii, or other international locations.
2. Shipping Costs
- Canada: Calculated at checkout based on product weight, dimensions, and destination.
- USA: Shipping fees vary by item and will also be calculated at checkout.
Some products may ship free as part of manufacturer promotions. Any active offers will be noted on the product page.
3. Order Processing & Lead Times
All orders are processed Monday to Friday.
- Standard Processing Time: 1–3 business days
- Shipping Time (Canada): 3–10 business days (depending on product and location)
- Shipping Time (USA): 2–7 business days
Please note: Some products are made to order or shipped directly from manufacturers and may require longer lead times (up to 2–3 weeks). Estimated delivery times will be shown at checkout or emailed after purchase.
4. Shipping Carriers & Tracking
We use a network of reliable freight and parcel carriers including:
- Canada: Day & Ross, Purolator, FedEx, Canada Post
- USA: FedEx, UPS, LTL freight (varies by item)
A tracking number and estimated delivery window will be emailed once your order has shipped.
5. Oversized Deliveries
Many of our products are large and ship via freight.
- Curbside delivery is standard; the carrier will contact you to schedule a drop-off time.
- Please inspect all shipments upon arrival and note any damage before signing.
6. Customs, Duties & Taxes
- For Canadian customers: All applicable taxes (HST/GST) are calculated and included at checkout.
- For U.S. customers: No duties will be charged—orders ship from our U.S. warehouse and clear customs prior to delivery.
7. Delivery Issues & Claims
If your shipment is delayed, damaged, or missing:
- Contact us within 7 days of the expected delivery or incident.
- Take photos of any damage before opening and save packaging materials.
- We'll work with the shipper and manufacturer to resolve the issue (replacement, refund, or repair as appropriate).
8. Incorrect Addresses & Returns
Please double-check your shipping address before submitting your order.
- Orders shipped to incorrect addresses provided by the customer may incur re-shipping fees.
- If an item is returned to us due to an error in the address, we’ll reach out to arrange re-delivery.

Key points:
- Returns are accepted within 30 days if the product is unused and in original packaging.
- Return shipping fees may apply unless the item was defective or incorrect.
